Coles Bakery is not just a great place to work, but somewhere that produces award-winning products.

We had a strong showing at the Product of the Year awards for 2021, with our Coles Finest labelled chocolate and hazelnut mirror glaze mousse two-pack won the top spot after a vote by 9000 Aussie shoppers, while our traditional recipe croissants won the bakery category.

So if you want to feed Australians and win awards while doing it, then a career as a Baker might be for you.

Recognising our Baking champions

Coles are members of the Baking Association of Australia  (BAA) who host many state based events to assist and promote the baking industry. Over the years we have had many representatives from our talented baking teams participate in State and Territory baking shows, apprentice competitions and social events all over the country (the industries only recognised competitions).

The competitions are open to everyone who is part of the baking industry in Australia and we are proud to acknowledge our Award winning teams who have proven they’ve got what it takes to compete against the best.
