Everyone is welcome at our table
Being unique reminds us that every customer, team member and supplier we work with is unique too. So, just as we have for over a century, we’re making Coles somewhere everyone feels like they belong.
We're proud to come from all walks of life.
Chris: I'm a proud Murri man. Garaynbal is my mob.
Dandan: I'm from China and I moved to Australia 12 years ago.
Jolene: I'm 43 years old, so I have two grown up children.
Christopher: I have ADHD, so it puts me under the neurodivergent banner.
Nisha: We all are from different backgrounds, but we all are a team.
Hear's what we do to support one another
Jolene: It's about checking in with one another as well.
Mati: It is looking to the left of you and the right of you as to who you can help.
Darian: Even just the little things.
Vikki: It's about knowing when somebody is maybe not doing okay.
Brodie: Having people around me who feel like they get me and they understand me.
Jolene: So yeah, we're never alone.
It's how we find strength in our differences.
Sineth: It's made us have a bit more empathy.
Vikki: Those acts of kindness every day means that people understand that they're safe here at work.
Matti: Being able to speak up whatever's in your heart should be in your mouth.
Ellie: It means that I'm one person, no matter where I am, which is fantastic.
Darian: It really tweaks people's perceptions and what they can do.
Chrissy: How important it is for others to be able to see what they want to be.
Sheena: But the best part is we are on this journey together.
We Proudly Care for each other. Have Courage to make the right choices. Deliver for our Customers. Create for the future.
We are proudly Coles.
Throughout the recruitment process, we provide support for candidates to make sure nobody is disadvantaged. If you’re interested in a great career with Coles Group, across any of our brands or functions, we’d love you to apply.

All together for Accessibility
Strength in our differences
We’re committed to making our products, services, workplace and culture welcoming, accessible and supportive of people with disability.
To support our customers, we're committed to the continued rollout of disability confidence training to our customer facing team members.
In 2021, we became a signatory to the Valuable 500, a CEO-led global movement for disability inclusion in workplaces, of which we are still a proud signatory of in 2024. Coles was one of only eleven Australian signatories, and the only Australian retailer in the initial group of 500 workplaces.
We have also recently rated number 1 performer in the Access and Inclusions Index with the Australian Disability Network for 2023. We are also a member of the Australian Disability Network.
Making adjustments to support you
During the recruitment process, we know we might need to make some adjustments; including alternative formats to the recruitment process, so we can get to know you in the best possible way. Let us know, we’re happy to accommodate.
Once you join Coles as a team member, if there are changes that need to be made to your workplace or workstation so you can perform at your best, we’ll work with you to develop a solution that suits your needs.
