We're sorry… the job you are trying to apply for has been filled.
A day in the life
What do I do? I make sure that my deliveries get out to the customer as quickly and efficently as possible.
A typical day for me is I come in the morning. I vehicle check, get it started ready for the next driver. Load the groceries, get ready to go out to deliver to the customer.
The best part of my job is working with the team early in the morning. Everyone's got each other's back. Getting all of the loads ready. There is a little banter between us when it comes to State of Origin time.
What surprised me was visiting new areas, new places. It makes me happy being outside and outdoors.
I was leaving one of my drops. Saw an elderly gentleman had fallen over. And I jumped out and I helped him up and assisted him back in the house and made sure that he was alright.
So my advice, don't be scared. You do get the training. You do get assigned with good drivers. You do get taught all the steps. All you need is to have a driver's license, be over the age of 21 and you're good to go.
