Our Technology team is the backbone of the Coles business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group.

As a part of the Technology team, you'll have the opportunity to work through complex, challenging, meaningful problems using large data sets and new technologies to expand your skills and experience.

The recruitment process

1. Submit your application

Search and apply for roles that match your interests and experience. Your application and resume will be reviewed by our recruitment team.

2. Role fit conversation

This phone conversation is a chance for us to get to know you and your experience in more detail, and for you to ask us any questions you may have about the position.

3. First round interview

You’ll meet with the hiring manager/leaders to discuss the role, share your skills experience and obtain a better feel for what it’s like to work at Coles.

4. Activity, task or online assessment

For some roles, you may be asked to complete a short task, activity or online assessment to help us better understand your skills.

5. Second round panel interview

You'll meet additional leaders for a deeper conversation about the role, your experience, and next steps.

6. Verbal offer & background check

You will need to provide documents for working rights verification and separately to complete a police check such as passport, birth certificate and drivers license. Some roles may require additional checks.

7. Formal offer & Onboarding

Once you have received and signed your contract, you'll be required to complete your onboarding details including bank, superannuation and taxation details.

Your line manager will be in touch with you to discuss arrangements for your first day.
