Rosini: So my name is Rossini I have been at Coles for nine months now and I joined as part of the store support center graduate program
Rosini: The day-to-day can really vary, it's alot of you know building relationships with suppliers so we might have our weekly check-ins, working with the supply chain teams, product development, working with our marketing teams to make sure we're activating everything that's launching. It's a great role where you get to kind of touch lots of different areas of the business
Clay: You are all staring at me so. My name is Clay Welch I'm general manager of corporate strategy and capital for Coles Group, so I do a few things, I look at the actual corporate strategy itself but also capital and some of the Investments we make across the business. Kind of the intersection between strategy and finance and some of the big challenging Financial questions that we have across the group.
Rossini: The energy in the office is great, so we've got a Cafe, we've got a little Supermarket, we've got the gym, we've got really great facilities.
Clay: We have the center and the Middle where you can actually grab a coffee, you can engage with team members from around thebusiness and and just an important way to actually step away from the day-to-day work but also engage collaboratively across the business
Rosini: Flexible working is really big at Coles and you know it's great to know that Coles really want to make sure they're getting the best out of their people. Coming into the office is great but even when we are working from home it's a seamless transition so it's really easy.
Clay: The advice I'd give to somebody joining Coles, be eager to learn and grow, coming in with a fresh perspective that you bring from wherever you were working previously and then just being able to listen and learn from others.
Rosini: Go for it. put yourself out there take as many opportunities as you can because a lot will come to you at Coles.
